Wondered who that African voice in Shakira's song "Waka Waka" for the World Cup was? That was Freshlyground. Not enough of attention and praise was given to the group but it appears that their popularity is growing.
The group hails from South Africa and is now revealing their fourth studio album, Radio Africa. In a radio interview, the members said that this album incorporates more of their African roots than others--and it shows.
With fusions of jazz, rock and Afro-pop, the music is just ever so beautiful.
