Ivy & Gold // Bombay Bicycle Club

Bombay Bicycle Club's newest album Flaws steers the group in a different direction than their freshman album. The sound is folksy with gentle acoustics and banjos, the tone is melancholy.

Visit the band's page here.

Night Work by Scissor Sisters

The Scissor Sisters have produced a wonderful dance album in Night Work with explosive disco flare. To give you some idea, some tracks are very reminiscent of Goldfrapp, which is never a bad thing. Check out two tracks from Night Work below.

Visit the group's page here.

Eli "Paperboy" Reed

Taking it back to old-school soul and R&B, Motown stars would be proud of Eli "Paperboy" Reed for re-energizing their legacy in the modern day. And listen to that voice!

Mountain Man + Jonsi

Mountain Man is in fact not a man. The man is actually three women with hauntingly, harmonious voices who chant to folk melodies. With their growing popularity, the gals are being sought out by many; one being Jonsi. Mountain Man will be supporting Jonsi in his upcoming US tour in September.

Check out Mountain Man's site here or go out and get their latest album "Made The Harbor."

New Video: "Your Easy Lovin' Ain't Pleasin' Nothin'" // Mayer Hawthorne

Soul singer, Mayer Hawthorne just released his new video for "Your Easy Lovin' Ain't Pleasin' Nothin'" from the Strange Arrangement album.

The video is home video at its best and I'm glad to see he isn't taking himself too seriously. His lovin' is quite fun to watch, check it out below.

Dun Dun // Los Rakas -- (tribute to El General)

Growing up Mexican, you knew very well who El General was: the OG of Panama that spit to Latin dance music while busty, voluptuous women danced in his periphery. I did.

Los Rakas, a Latin urban group from Panama, has done a mix of El General's "Tu Pum Pum" in their album PanaBay Twist 2: La Tanda Del Bus.

Check them out here to download other free tracks from this album.
